Re: Mature student issues (full time student)

When I was at university, we had quite a few mature students. I think at first it was daunting for them because most of the students were a lot younger than them, but in the end they ending up being the people who the younger ones looked up to in the group. We had no choice but to do group work in our course and you just have to not hold back and go for it, offer your advice, views and opinions. Trust me, the younguns will respect you for it and will look up to you. Also, don't be afraid to listen to them, as they have different view points on things and you can begin to see things differently. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I am not feeling well today

      I don’t wanna stay here
      Cause everyday it rains here
      Underneath this clear blue sky
      Even though it’s summer
      All I hear is thunder
      Underneath this clear blue sky

Re: Mature student issues (full time student)

I don't really consider this an issue at the moment. I suppose back then I was having an: "out of sorts" day.

Cliques are not a boogyeman. Paranoia is a destroyer.
