Just curious about why we are not allowed to set a picture of our own self as our Avatar?
If anybody knows why even from a basic regular member an answer would be great thanks a bunch!

Hi, Christian. It's to ensure each member's privacy and safety. The less personal and identifying info out there, the safer our members are.
Squirrels just seem to live "right." They collect their food directly from the Earth's natural bounty...or from friendly humans. They find time to play every day. And at night, they curl up together, staying safe and warm in their cosy nests. Squirrels have the right idea.

Don't be sorry. It was a valid question. Basically it boils down to the safety, anonymity, and protection of privacy due to the vulnerability of our members. The nature of this site can lead to trolling and predatory behaviors. Not something to take chances or unnecessary risks with.
