How we know those babies go to Heaven can be found in the passages from 2-Samuel 12:23 where it says "But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to him." As you can see, it says that the baby can not return to him but David can go to him. And since David goes to Heaven, therefore the baby must be there, since the passage says that David will go to him.

Along with my Buddhist-Meditation, I reduce my Salt-intake to as low a degree as possible. To that end, I buy a brand of bread called "Food For Life." Its amount of Salt is so low that the first time I ate it, I felt it had no taste at all. But the more I eat it, the more used to it that I get.

What it teaches me is that the less taste that my food has, the more detached I get from my appetite, so the more detached I get from my emotions, which is the objective of Zen-meditation.

No, I don't think it's wrong. What I meant and what I stay away from is gluttony and general Overindulgence. In other words, too much pleasure causes emotional problems.

Glad to see that my thread in the Crisis section on Reincarnation Preventing Suicide has been getting a favorable response. It's what I mean when I said earlier that one religion can compensate for what I'm Unable to get from another religion.

While Christianity helps me in matters of Conscience, but when it comes to helping to prevent suicide, it's Buddhism which saves me. For the explanation, look at my separate thread in the Crisis section on Reincarnation Preventing Suicide.
