Re: Is any one vegetarian or vegan here?

Have you tried Alpro soya milk, it has added calcium and sweetened with apple juice (you can't taste the apple juice), a lot of supermarkets have their own brand of the sweetened ones, to me it tastes as good as cows milk. Some soya milk is gross and tastes beany.

i still feel bad though because the cows go through so much pain for us to have loads of milk. i just don't think i could stop drinking it because i like it too much.

I'm vegetarian...
Meat is gross cuz it's full of nerves and veins and muscle and stuff. Makes me feel VERY unwell.

'semi-vegetarian'; no red meat for me. due to my blood condition though- I still eat fish; and on occasion- poultry.

I turned vegetarian... sort of.. i still eat fish/scallop/crab.. but not meat and usually no eggs... just the egg whites for protein sometimes.. i would be more strict, but i've been a omnivore for most of my life

Aaaagh, I'm being taunted with bacon and marshmallows!

(However, I recently caved and allowed myself to take fish oil supplements - the n-3 fatty acids in it supposedly help with depression; equivalent vegeterian supplements contain both n-3 fatty acids and n-6 fatty acids (which are bad for you))

Eggs, milk, fish and vegetables. No chicken meat or red meat or anything else than fish. I was pure vegan at the time but not anymore. I buy organic eggs and milk like animals whom live "free".

I tried being vegan before, but I gave it up because I didn't like depending on a b12 supplement. I still don't eat meat though.

Re: Is any one vegetarian or vegan here?

I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian, myself.

I became one when I was in my mid-twenties. Before then I loved meat. Especially spare ribs and smoked chicken. Now, I couldn't enjoy it if I tried.

Vegan. It makes me really sad to live with the knowledge of how animals are treated.
