[Final] What to do with the E-Zine - please contribute

Hi folks, me again.

After leafing through the thread "End of E-Zine?", it seems the consensus is to have it as a quarterly, or semi-annual 'publication'.

Blake has raised the question of whether it could possibly be run off the forum itself, but I'll have to raise it with Robin and the admins on that one.

If anyone has any final thoughts on what to do (keep the E-Zine as a quarterly publication, or not as the case may be), then please do post below.

We should have celebrity interview! I'll totally read it if Jessica Alba is interviewed next month! jk i'm being an ass. But how about interviewing some moderators... That will help us getting to know them... *runs

Actually having an interview with a member each issue, moderator or otherwise, seems like a preety nice idea, might wanna think about opening a spot for an interviewer, if the Ezine returns.

As for the rate of the publications, it doesn't really bother me so I'd say find a number of issues per year that suits the whole team. As far as I'm concerned, any number of issues per year is fine.

What about having it quarterly for the main topics, but having it open to other articles and topics people might want to create. Like if someone wants to write something on cheese(I dont know) and wanted to submitt that. And having a section open for anyone to submitt it.
I think there should be some design into it to. Make it pleasing for people to browse. We could all try and make something for that.

I vote for a quarterly publication. It makes it easier for members to contribute.

Hmm the lack of replies makes me wonder if it needs a complete concept re-vamp Or even, made a bit more public, I tend to skip this forum for some reason. Alot of people come and go too, so whomever is interested in viewing it now, might not be here, and newer people might not know about it.

I suppose though making it more public on a forum dedicated to people at their points can be dodgy. Maybe theirs a way to associate it with the people here a bit more. Open sections for success stories, or debates of interest.
I donno if it's intended to keep the topics of E-zine away from the motions of SF though.

i just randomly saw this thread, but i think its a cool idea, and quaterly is cool, it gives it a sorta special kinda trhing ya know you dont get to see a new one every week kinda thing
