I made two serious attempts, and found many caring people who helped me pull out of it. On the other end of those attempts were hospitalizations, inpatient, and outpatient partial programs, and after care meetings. I have also found DBSA meetings. I found a lot of things to do that make life worth living. And when suicidal ideas and feelings crop up, the first thing I do now is reach out. I have a kind therapist. And I have found the counselors at 1-800-273-8255 (Suicide Prevention Lifeline) are very helpful. I hope I am strong enough to never make another attempt, but to always seek help before acting.
