Congratulations on your marriage. Are you suffering agrophobic symptoms? I ask this as many days I cannot go out or communicate with anyone by spoken word. I am autistic.

Ok so chances are you will start a family. You obviously have decades to complete the other 4.

this is for social anxiety not depression for me (though they go hand in hand)
    1. make true friends (not just filler friends but ppl i actually relate with)
    2. be outgoing and so quiet/shy
    3. fall in love/get a boyfriend

    I can't remember it well- I was pretty 'happy', I was 15.
I remember wanting to run away to a quiet/peaceful safe place and read... ended up spending that summer in hell painting.

Those are not too different to mine. Here are mine:

    1. Go to college/Uni.
    2. Make new friends.
    3. Compete in bodybuilding once.
    4. Go on a holiday with friends.
    5. Get a girlfriend.

Although mine are more like, things I want to do but can't because of my social anxiety.

What frightens you about the outside world? I know London is really loud.

I can relate to the stepping out the front door thing. Right opposite my house, across the road is where one of my best friends and his family lives, also, the people who live next door know all my friends from school, so if I go out I don't like that people know me and live that close. If it was an area where nobody knew who I was I'd feel more comfortable with walking to the shops, posting letters etc.

It is the fact its so loud. also i live in a small place where even walking to the shop someone will see me and say hi. on the days i feel ok i can just manage to go into town. a step im trying to make is just going for coffee with a friend. it normally perks me up a bit.

That could be a nice opportunity to socialize more, I understand where you're coming from though whenever I see someone I know I keep my head down and walk faster.

The only thing I've ever wanted is to be happy and find people I click with, depression just makes both impossible.

i feel exactly the same. an area no one knows me is much easier to control my fear.
