Once the friend I needed the most,

asked me a question of love and hate,

and I had to understand, the answer would cost,

my life and even my faith.

To fully understand it, I needed to know,

why ask such question, for soul and mind,

and he, the friend, couldn't show,

what else he wanted in my eyes to find.

Such simple and sweet question it was to ask,

but the answer was complex and wild,

    hidden emotions behind the mask,

    hidden and smiled.

Why did you do it?, he finaly asked,

Why not?, I answered it with truth,

He smiled sadly, short and fast,

We stand there, young with youth.

The answer I seeked he never gave,

So did I, with all I had,

Why I did it, I couldn't say, I needed it save,

Why I should have not done it, he also never answered that.

This story is sad, no end, no begin,

but with a middle, no happy end,

I could never forget, my darker twin,

my twin in the mirror, not my friend.

After that talk, he never came back,

and after that, I lost my mind,

I looked at his photo, black, white, black,

and death had me to find.

    Another 5 minutes work :p
But my PC is okay again :)

I really like this poem! You're very talented. I especially liked the line: "we stand there, young with youth." Very well written. :)
