All human thought and action is driven by the 7.
You call them sins.
Greed, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Lust and Pride.
But they are what cause all things in humanity.

If you deny this, it is because of pride, you believe you know better, what you consider, truth, however, if you accept this, it is because of sloth, laziness to stand against an idea.

Why own a house too large for yourself or even an entire family? Why have more money than humanly needed? Why run for political office then retire one year after for the huge retirement package? Greed, Gluttony, Envy and Sloth.

Why kill? Why hate? Why harm? Wrath, Pride.

Why have children? Why go for a promotion? Why buy a nice car? Why wear fine clothes? Greed, Pride, Lust, Gluttony.

Why were video games, pornography, cigarettes, alcohol, weapons invented? Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Pride, Wrath, Sloth and Envy.

All of human existence can be explained by these 7 fundamentals.

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness

Even God has felt this fundamental (if you believe in him, which I do not).
God has known Wrath.

 

To find the answer to that which is troubling you, find that which was there before it knew about pride and sloth.

 

Everything troubles me.
So everything must end.

But none of this matters. I am no longer posting on this site.
I only want to die.

 

I feel the same way too Prof.

But having experienced that which was there before it knew about death I realise that there is no easy way out. We have to stand and face our demons. They are all a creation of our own mind. Our battle is only with our own self.

We’re all so incredibly conditioned; we have no idea what we’re really supposed to be.

Try and see that all those horrible feelings, which you can describe, are in fact separate from you.

The gap between you and your experience is your protection.

Stand and face them, don’t let them defeat you.

You are not alone.

There has to be a reason for all this nonsense.

 

In my opinon, the worst parts of reality can provoke ego, and ego can be so strong that it can blot out the good in life, especially by rational choice.

The Seven defiantly come after ego and choice. Those are not the foundations of human feelings and our existence. They merely are an expression and direction of who we choose to be. It doesn't mean, it's who we have to be, or what we draw from. There are many other forms of existing, and many other feelings and directions we can go to and draw from. These ones are easier to in some cases fall into and draw from, and in my opinon, because they do so much damage, shine alot more in the spot light of life.

Meh.. idk mate. I personally was once there. I am there in some cases, where i see the disgusting choices and hatred in people and groups. But ive learned, atleast for myself that these are choices. They are not directions that I have to become, and they are not directions others have to become. Even though at times I will bleed into these said "catagories", it is an aspect of life, but one that in every instance, we are capable of overcoming and leaving for something better.

Just my personal view on it.
