A chuckle a day keeps the doctor away!

‘Let us all cultivate a sense of humour, so that we treat as amusing those things in humanity which would otherwise irritate or annoy us. Let us be understanding, feeling with our siblings in their little irritations and annoyances and turn darkness into light by throwing upon it the wondrous warming beam of humour.’ White Eagle ‘Stella Polaris’ February/March 2007

Even though the darkest clouds are in the sky,
You mustn’t sigh and you mustn’t cry –
Spread a little happiness, as you go by...

Well, it’s not a good idea to suppress our emotions because that leads into depression. So, by all means have little moan and a cry. Then count the many blessings in your life and smile.

After having shared many serious themes with me through ‘The Random Jottings of a Stargazer’, ‘The Astro Files’ and Rays of Wisdom, I thought you might enjoy a spot of light relief. It is waiting to come to you in the form of some whimsical tales by the Courtjester, a dear friend of mine, from his collection ‘Madazine’.

To help you not getting lost when a cloud passes over your personal Sun, below is a link for your first chuckle:

Here is your latest chuckle from the Courtjester: ‘The Node Bulletins – Number One’. For a bold mountaineering expedition, you need a group of rugged individuals who can work as a team. Impatient Patient

‘Impatient Patient’ is the title of today’s second offering from the Courtjester. A man exasperated by a long wait for surgery decides to take matters into his own hands. We don’t know how we came by this item, which our typesetter Phyllis Tyne almost incinerated when lighting her pipe. Please follow this link:

Guarding the Guards

‘Guarding The Guards’ is the title of the Courtjester’s latest. It ask the question: ‘What should we do to ensure better financial supervision of our companies?’ Well, maybe the best idea is to take the advice of our greatest solver of social problems, Sir Bertram Utterside, former professor of social studies at one of Britain’s top universities and recently described as ‘The Fearsome Ferret’. His genius for solving all humankind’s problems never fails him. Here is your link:

No More Quarks

And now, the Courtjester presents: ‘No More Quarks’. Another outing for the ‘Sage of Trondheim’, Professor Ovis Jopp (remember it’s pronounced Yopp). He’s into particle physics and very pleased with himself. But critic Dr Terps Dunderklap, the ‘Swedish Savant’, is dismissive. To find out more, please follow this link:

Millenial Angst

Today the Courtjester brings you ‘Millennial Angst’. It’s about the engravers of Roman numerals who were depressed when the 1990s ended. Here, with our apologies for the delay – we lost the item for quite a while – is their tale of woe. Please follow this link:

Sadsack Publishing Company

The Courtjester has in store for you today: ‘Sadsack Publishing Company’. Mr Underthwaite wishes to get his work published, but 18,000 words hardly amount to a book. Sadsack’s Jamie Stoat gives advice, but is this a case of tough love? To find out more, please click on this link:

Dear Friends - White Eagle tells us in ‘Sayings of the Gentle Brother – Simplicity’: ‘Do not forget we [your guides from the world of spirit] are with you, looking on with great love, sometimes with humour. Oh yes! We have a great sense of humour, you know! – but kindly humour. And we suggest that you too encourage that sense of humour. Keep your eyes twinkling – it will be a great help.’

How about you sharing with us here some of the things that make you chuckle and smile?

With love and light,
Aquarius

Reply from Planet X to Emissary

‘Reply From Planet X To Emissary’ is today’s offering from the Courtjester. A nasty retort from Mission Control to galactonaut Dweedles. Surely a lone envoy way out behind the Beyond should expect support from the folks back at home, but is it forthcoming? To find out, please follow this link:

Power To The People

‘Power To The People’ is the title of the Courtjester’s offering for today. The incandescent Professor Jopp offers cheap energy to all of us. The answer is fusion, based on the one and only sub-atomic particle, the groat. But arch-critic Dr Terps Dunderklap is not convinced. Read more about this here:
