I didn't expect to have a good day, but I did.

1) Went to breakfast at IHOP with a gift card. Good start to the day.

2) Went to the bus stop and there was the bus exactly when I needed it.

3) Went to see "Prince Caspian" at the Burbank cinemas. I thought the movie wasn't going to start for at least an hour. It was starting in 5 minutes. I paid and sat down just before the previews rolled. Good movie.

4) Went to the Elephant bar for a burger. I haven't had a burger in so long and it tasted fabulous.

5) Thought I would have to wait an hour for the bus, but when I went to the stop, there it was!

6) Got off to go to the Foxfire to have a couple of drinks. Surprised to see a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a month on her way somewhere. She remarked on how much weight I've lost.

7) Bartender Lisa bought me a birthday drink. Got to talking with a funny couple.

8) Went home, watched the "South park" movie. Talked to family and friends on the phone who wished me a happy one. The girl down the hall that I have a crush on knocked on the door and gave me a birthday card. I gave her one (it was her birthday too, believe it or not). Then fooled around on the computer and had some Tequilla.

Now I probably should have been feeling lonely because there was no one around, but it didn't really occur to me. Even now, I don't feel bad that I didn't go a party. It was alright and I'm happy with the day. Guess I'm getting old. But who cares.

haha the older we get the less we notice somethings.

I'm still young but I don't complain as much when I was a lot younger.

It's nice to read someone is having a nice time and having fun, happy belated birthday.
