A Moment Of Peace

    Another poem on this forum inspired me to write this poem. I'm not sure how or why their poem caused me to think about writing this. Only thing I can say is after reading their's, the meaning of this one kept bouncing around in my grey matter. Here is the other members poem. Can't Help Being Alone

    gazing upon her inner vulnerability
    he’s content with a sculpturous show
    her heart is suspect of many things
    but never more then the one he chose

    temperate his hands mold her existence
    guiding a self perceived glob of clay
    from an unwanted pile of mud and dirt
    to one safe from years of doubt and pain

    her belly tingled with a transference
    of subtle yet enduring electricity
    his lips finding a path across her skin
    to the spot of his desired selectivity

    emboldened actions of his manly lust
    saturate her body in a fertile heat
    her spirit explodes with each wanting kiss
    and for a brief moment she finds peace. :rose:
