    A Needles Lining

In the place where clouds silver linings are made of mercury
And the fields of scratch-n-sniff daisies call out to me
Where time is meaningless, old fashion, and quaint
And the dictionaries contain an entry for “Ain't”
Where I find Serpentine Belts hiding in the grass
Sometimes too, interwoven with all I fail to grasp
I trudge along the soggy highroads between peaks capped with gas
And a diesel river flowing down below, right out of grasp
A needle was once a instrument to deliver a cure with a touch a pain
But now I've around to find its only a temporary way
To stop the things I fear the most
    From coming true despite
All I do, all I've done
    But shush for now...
    Cause everything's Alright
