    “A Profound Depression”

Everywhere I look, I see the profoundness of it all
Sadness reverberates across that invisible dimension
Such pain is obvious to me, no matter how small

I turn inward then, to escape the outside madness
Only to realize the suffering is worse
    A grotesque, deformed image
    Like writhing maggots
    Under a magnifying glass

The planes of introspection are black here
    Oozing like infected pores
    The walls are bowing lichi
    Thoughts surrendering their happiness

O what can change the soul
    Of a wistful centipede
    Wallowing in the cracks...?
