It's funny how we, the depressed, are the ones who are "sick"...
    ...

    Shadow hour.
A motherless child, an orphan of the galaxy - the collective soul, humanity...
People feeling lost and confused. People hurting. A hungry void, a vermin within chants of fears and lies... false beliefs. What can you see in our society's eyes? Broken homes and families, broken children, broken toys, broken souls broken dreams.

City laboratory. Stuffy apartments and dark alleys. Concrete deserts, high buildings block the sun.
People smile... people lie, try to get by...
Meanwhile, youre sitting quietly, trying to figure out, why are you feeling sad...
Your conscience screams but you can't make out the words yet...
    It's okay.

An infinite spirit slayed by a beast nature... A beautiful mind traped by a governing villain... A secondhand behaviour devouring all... A godlike body sucked dry by a vampire...
Meanwhile, you are lying in bed trying to figure out what is wrong with you...
    It's okay.

Commercials and adds on streets and screens, teach of plastic - so fantastic! ...life becomes spastic. Skeleton girls wear smiley masks while cocktail boys just wanna have fun...
Expensive is beautiful and the rest is not enough. Mother nature outdated, modern man has to be upgraded...
    ...
A little bit of food in our poison to keep us going. A little bit of salary in our tax to maintain us working...
a little bit of emotion in our antidepressants...
a little bit of honesty in our lie's...
Meanwhile, you cant sleep... so many secrets you keep.
    It's okay.

This is what it is... it exists, unjustice breathes. You may feel alone.
A voice within screams - you don't belong here ...and you don't.
No one does... because this is a sleeping world.
Walking dead roam the streets in search of a product that would fill the void within...

Sadness is not bad, there is nothing wrong with us... what else can a soul feel in a world gone wrong..? and how else would change come? If no one would recognize injustice, and if no one would recognize chaos, how could freedom be found? How would peace be attained? How would good deeds grow?

There is no pill that can fix the world, there is no pill that will make this work. There is only you to save the day.
and how could there be a million without a one? You are the one.
So keep on going. keep searching or just hold strong and standby. Love, create and share cause that is the original human nature. Follow the nature and you will heal. Follow your gut.

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”

Hi @brightlight :D I’d say @SonjaRot wrote it and quoted Jung at the end. She posted another poem yesterday (devoted to SF!) It made me feel like all this pain we read and hold was so worth it, if you know what I mean?

I also spent some time on your webpage a few nights ago. I even did the 30 minute meditation! Thank you. I had some real “wow” moments regarding the Shamanic aspect of your story.. ;)

I believe that we are all responsible for the present state of our world. Everybody, in past lifetimes and this one, have done their share of making it that way. It's up to us to do better and making it, even if only in small bits, a more pleasant and peaceful world for someone. Doing our best to bring our own share of Heaven down to the Earth, that's the very reason why we were granted the gift of another earthly lifetime. With love - Aquarius :)

your contributions to this site are fantastic Aquarius!

and the poem by SonjaRot was really good! it made me think. i tend to keep a bubble around myself and don't worry about bad things in the world ... i've done some things to help, like being on this site and some activism, but mostly have focused on myself and my family. if you can at least focus on your family, that's great, but some people don't have a family they can rely on! i guess volunteering is another way to help - helping one person at a time can mean something. hmmm ... got me thinking!
