    How curiious, the lives of men;
    For it is true, now and then,

    That if fate has cast down on you,
    A pain-filled, horrible, type of slew,

    In place of life, where joy should be,
    And made you strong enough to see;

    The truth behind this life of lies,
    How often we must say goodbyes,

    Then you cannot show ,
    No matter how much you know,

    The pain that you endured today,
    It is something you cannot say;

    For it is true, now and then,
    That life sucks.
    But they cannot know that we know that.
    Life is incomplete. Why can’t my poem be the same?

    Seeing the world from the Joker's perspective
    (Joker) Tell me something.
    You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?

    (me) I have danced with the devil. I have seen the truth.

    (joker) hehehehe, well, we have a feisty one here! And what, may I ask, is the truth of the matter, if you know so much hehehehehe

    (me) I am nothing but potential. Every decision I will make, every life I will impact, is raw, unadulterated power.

    (Joker) But I aim to kill you! Where does that leave your power?

    (me) It is mine, until the very second you take it from me.

    (Joker Well, hehehehehe, then try this limerick on for size, my poetically challenged friend;
    All the places you would go; all the people you would see; All of your power, now belongs, to me! AAHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhheheheheheheheeee!!!

    (me) And your monologue leaves a gap to be filled in the criminal world. I think I'll fill it.

    (Joker) cough cough wheeze [shakey laugh] you tricked me, boy! heheheCOUGH so what does this mean for my pretty face?

    (me) Well, to quote a weak man i once killed,
    All the places you'd go.
    All the people you'd see.
    ALL of your power.
    Now belongs to me.

    (joker) I hate copycats! Wheeze...

    (me) hehehehehehehehehehehahahahahHAHAHAHAHAAHHHAHAHAHA!!!!

    To Err Is Human

    To err is human, to love is to die.
    To die is to love, through untainted eye.
    We all make mistakes, that's still fact of life.
    And no love is forever, which causes us strife.
    The death of a loved one, whether expected or not,
    Brings questions of life; many answers are sought.
    If we know we will soon pass, to whatever it be,
    Our love to another, soon we do let free.
    No mother, nor father, nor sister, nor brother,
    Gives love as soon-dead, will give to another.
    All rivals forgotten, all petty things gone,
    They give out true love, and no-one finds wrong.
    To sum it all up, to say it now quick,
    Mistakes we will make, and love's strongest from sick.

    In loving memory of Laurie. To me mother; Wife to another; Friend to all.
