    Are the familiar faces,
    The familiar places?

    Does no one know me,
    Or know my name?

Is this place I am in,
It used to be a home.

Can a home be a home
Without ones to make it such?

    We still belong,
Even if we have no attachments?

    I am an alien
    In my home,
    House and country.

Why do I feel a bond,
    An attachment,
When there is no one and nothing left?

Beautifully written, Mo. Grief is a place each person experiences alone, I think.

 bonds & attachments are good... they help define who we are like rungs of a ladder places in our journey are necessary stepping stones but the destination is the goal... your beautiful writing comes from a beautiful soul. Xx
