    Bottom.
    Burned out.
    Exhaustion is a wordless prayer,
    letting go of even expression.
The candle at both ends, meeting,
    and there’s nothing solid left.
    It’s all fleeting,
    all soft, dripping,
melting within the pool of acceptance
that there is nothing else to do.
Where resignation is not even a choice,
    it simply is ~
    Left with no force.
    And the moment is all
    that lives.
    There is no more will…
    Let the rain fall hard
    and where it may,
it’s so very quiet here ~
No sound could stir me anyway,
and there is nothing else to fear.

    It’s almost like peace…
