I tried to kill myself at 12 years old without any good reason. tried again another 2 times at 18 and 19 with better reasons. i dunno. went to the doctor about this and he blew me off but i understand its about a million times easier to get antidepressents in the us than anywhere else. btw i just turned 20 so shits reletively recent. first post yo. real talk

Well obviously something is going on if it's not depression. I would go back to your doctor and ask for a referral to a psychiatrist who can properly assess you.

Also 20 here. Rough age. Stepping out of the teenage years and into adulthood or something like that. It's possible that it's clinical depression, however, a formal diagnosis is best. I agree about getting a referral to a psychiatrist. I wish you the best, whatever you decide to do.
