ok you all should get a kick out of this.

OK almost 2 weeks ago a friend of mine had to crash at my place.
She has got no place to stay, and I did not want to put her out.
And well this person is also my best friends GF.
And I am starting to have some trouble(if you know what I mean), her being so damn cute.
But due to how I have had to manage my temper in the past I have also developed a strong will of keeping control of myself.
But I will have to say, this entire situation with Mary has helped me realize a few things.
    1. I am more lonely then I have realized.
    2. I need a damn gf
and 3. She is a great friend

And its cause of 3 I am not going to do anything stupid!!
I would be hurting myself and our friendship.

Any comments, snide remarks or anecdotes are welcome.
I am sure I will get it from you ladies lol

Sorry, you're message must be in some code I don't understand. I don't get what you are asking for. If you are interested in this girl, and she is interested in you, that is really all that matters. All is fair in love and war. My wife was engaged when we met.

Thats a horrible thing to say, if your wife left you for another guy you'd just be like oh well its fair? And not just another guy but your good friend?

And its cause of 3 I am not going to do anything stupid!!
I would be hurting myself and our friendship.

^^^stick with that stormhand. Just enjoy her friendship

So your best friend, her boyfriend, holds no bearing in that decision?

I ask for nothing, this is only a statement.
Plus, I in no way believe that any a one night fling would be worth losing my best friend for 17 years over.
PLus she is not interested me in that way anways

I don't know about that, I have already met some of her friends for girls are not my type.
Not to meantion every setup I have had has gone wrong..

ahhh~ sometimes girls tend to give guys the wrong impression...
I had to end several of my friendships with boys because they figured they could steal me away from my boyfriend.

If they're taken (especially by a close friend) it's best to try and keep your distance if you feel something for them, I think.
    ...for now, anyways.

You sound like a good guy. I'm glad you're not all up in this situation like; "OMNOMNOM! GIRLLLL!!!" XD
It might be hard if you think you feel something for her, but sounds like you're doing pretty well.

Well I can say if she is giving me any impression, I doubt its willingly, she is too blindly in love with y friend hehe.

I don't plan to end any friendship. I alrady did one this year, but that was cause he was a lying self centered jerk...among other things.
Keeping my distance will be kinda tough considering I am helping her out for a place to stay, otherwise she would have no place to go.

Lol I am going one day at a time, but I think this will pass with time.
