Did anybody see "Saving Becky" the real story with fiona bruce a short while ago on BBC1? It was a powerful dramatised documentary on how a 14-year-old girl was lured into the terrible world of prostitution. It described how she slipped through the system of social services as well as a residential care home and how there was very little to prevent the ordeal she went through. Apparently the documentary was designed to highlight a problem that affects thousands of children in the uk. It made me feel angry that so many children could slip through the system like this and how the cycle perpetuates itself through continual neglect. The documentary almost brought a tear to my eye.
