April Amalgam lay dead in her sleep,
but if you watch you'll see that she still breaths.
By listening to what she's said before,
you'll see why she's not alive anymore.

Lost in a world of booze and pot,
she is looking for her one shot.
The one that will uncloud the skies.
A world in which no one can die.

We're all rats on a treadmill,
running scared and we are all lost.
Until we stop, and get off,
habits will drive us off of the bridge.

    April Amalgam, she already did.

You cannot say that it is fair,
the burdens which we all bear.
I want to shed my skin again
and wake up in a new bed.

Lost in a world of booze and pot,
she is looking for her one shot.
The one that will uncloud the skies.
A world in which no one can die.

Perfection comes not from outside the self,
but from inside we must find ourselves.
Peace without the chemicals in us
to bridge the gap of this schism.

We're all living in two seperate places
with the same people and all the same faces.
She's looking for that single person
who can look through the veil to see truth.

Lost in a world of booze and pot,
she is looking for her one shot.
The one that will uncloud the skies.
A world in which no one can die.

I want to wake up and look in her eyes,
and I want to be there when she cries.
April Amalgam lay dead in her sleep,
so now I hope to join her dreams.
