I can't remember who usually posts in these, so feel free to join if you would like. I'm trying to make a concerted effort to eat healthier and lose weight. I need to cut out most saturated fats, unhealthy carbs, and added sugars. So I will stick to drinking water, black coffee, and sugar free drinks instead of sugary ones. I will cut out butter, mayo, and other fats and replace them with ones that aren't as bad for you. I've been eating popcorn without butter instead of chips, and nuts and veggies instead of chocolate and ice cream. I hope I will be able to keep it up. Best of luck to everyone in reaching their fitness goals.

hey adding my 2¢ here. I do have an eating disorder which I have under control mostly.
I exercise because if I don’t my brain can’t stay out trouble. Put positively, exercise litts my mood.


:( Banned foods: candy bars, ice cream, cake, bread, tree nuts (because of allergy), fried chicken, and all soda both sweetened and otherwise since it always means I’ll react with craving the food.

Basicaly all the favorite treats are off limits 😭😂

I finally got my act together to lose a few pounds and cut out most of the sugary things I was eating. Trying to keep the carbs low, cut down on snacks and keeping my last meal light. I'm adding more veg and salads and using grapes and pistachios if I feel like snacking. It was the sunshine and needing to throw off the padded coat (it hides a multitude!) that got me motivated. I've managed to lose 4 pounds so far. Been forcing myself out for walks too. Just have to keep it up. I lose motivation so easily once a few pounds come off and I feel I'm ok eat biscuits again and the next thing I know it's all back on. But I'm determined to feel better and look better.

This is whats worrying me too! The warmer seasons can't hide my flab behind coats or cardigans anymore 😭

There's some really cute cake lovers shirts on amazon and some other sites too, it doesn't say "can't live without cake" but if I was a major cake lover (I love it but not enough to wear it on a shirt myself lol) I would def. want any or all of them lol. I feel quite guilty cos I've been bad with my health, weight loss and exercise so far this year. Trying really hard to get better self discipline going with it. Want to get to where I'm walking at least 5 or more days per week for a half hour each time. Then eventually to 3 of the days being where I do jogging for at least 20 mins to a half hour for cardio. Need to eat a lot healthier as well, a lot more fruits and veggies and less chocolate.

I looked at the notes my nutritionist left for me...she wrote 2400 ounces of liquid per day. That's like 18 gallons, so I'm pretty sure that was wrong. lol
If she said 240 ounces, that's more than a gallon and still seems like a lot. I calculated 10-12 cups of water per day for my weight and that seems more accurate.

I noticed that the more I eat things like salads and veggies, the more I want to eat them, and less sugar and other foods that are bad for me/
That is a plus and yes, healthy can be appealing for a person but in how it makes them feel as well as taste. Salads and vegetables are quite good and good for you. Those greens can become addictive. :)
