    do you remember?

spandau ballet - true at the school disco?

you never questioned why the a-team were always imprisoned in places that had sufficent tools to build an amoured tank?

you remember when the a-ha video was the pinnacle of modern technology and you can still remember all the words?

you ever owned a thin black leather tie or worse it was patterned like a piano ( i still have mine)

    you ever po-goed or space-hopped

not only did you wear luminus clothing but they were mismatched fingerless gloves and toweling socks.

    shiny grey fleck suits.

you rolled the sleeves of your suit jacket up.

ooh, you could crush a grape.

    and no73.

80s - keeping the dream alive.........

I'm not an 80's child, I came of age in the late 1970's but 1976 - 1986 was a fabulous time for music Disco included (all those great 12 inch mixes) I don't think the 80's clothing style was much to be proud of (Punk and Industrial/Joy Division were much better styles) my favourite time for clothing was the early 90's with the baggies and the whole manchester scene/look which is really still with us now.

I was a child in the 80s, but apparently I'm not a child of the 80s, and I'm kinda glad... that stuff sucked.
The early 90s had some crap but overall was probably the best time to come of age-- if you could grow a goatee in high school, you were da man.

And the best time for music overall was probably 1995-2005.

Actually, I was also a 70's - 80's child, born during vietnam, listened to everything from abba to zepplin. loved a-team, mcgyver, knight rider, remember project ufo from the late 70's, wow, how about the hair? checkerboard cuts, shaved one side long on the other?
90's came and ruined it all :-(
