    Hanging from this place
By the skin of my teeth
    Wrapped round my neck
And swinging me like a tire.
    Back and forth
    My feet brushing the ground
    With a swish swish sound
The sound of Fred Astaire’s soft shoe
    Scuffling the floor.
    Twist turn, dip and twirl
    And back again.
    The cycle never ends
But the fat lady is about to sing
    A lovely aria
One to bring the people from their seats.
