Aromatherapy for anxiety/depression

    To use as a steam

    Depression and Anxiety Inhalant

    Use with deep breathing

    3 drops frankincense oil
    2 drops chamomile oil
    in a bowl of hot water

    To use in a burner
    I use ylang ylang or lavender

    Also to use in the bath

    Extra-Relaxing Bath

    To be used before going to bed

    10 drops lavender

    5 drops marjoram

    Okay, so maybe I'm a tad skeptical of the effectiveness of such rituals. I would be willing to try the bath just for the sake of the warm water's relaxing properties. A roomy tub that one can stretch out in is perfect for meditation. One hour in such a comfortable state of mind can feel like a whole day of rest. :surfing:
