For past 12 months i've been drinking once per week (I drink until I'm drunk).

I find very hard to not drink once per week... Is my problem serious?

    I'm 19 years old.

Many professionals would say so yes, even though this is really common among people aged 18-30.

If you are asking the question though, I think you probably know the answer... drinking to get drunk is ALWAYS a problem.

Are you drinking socially or alone either way it is a problem if you seem to need to do it once a week to being intoxicated.

once a wekk?? no thats not a drink problem. A drink problem or any addiction for that matter is doing something to excess frequently (i.e. every day) If you drink every day til you got drunk then you would have a drink problem but as it is once a wekk is just the average, thats whats classed as binge drinking which is still a problem in itself because it wont do your liver any good in the long run.

Sorry for going on but im a recovering alcoholic and crack, heroin and meth addict so i know a bit about addiction
