The story is told of a group of survivors from a boat that went down off the coast of Brazil. In their raft they drifted, waiting to be rescued, but this was taking longer than anyone had ever feared it would, and their water supplies dried up. They began to dehydrate and their anxiety levels hit max. If only...... if only they had realised their true position and what was actually available to them - but no one did. Because the collective - and assumed - mind-set was that sea-water is undrinkable, no one bothered to even try it. OK, and so it is........ BUT, they had discounted the strength of the mighty Amazon. Their true condition was that the thing they all absolutely desired the most was actually, all around them....... the force of the Amazon's fall out into the ocean meant there was a layer of life-giving fresh supply. The tragedy was that no one was aware of it.

At the centre of our being is a point of nothingness, untouched by illusion, a point of pure truth, a point or spark which belongs entirely to (Our Creator), which is never at our disposal, which is inaccessible to the fantasies of our own mind or the brutalities of our will. This little point of absolute poverty ......is like a pure diamond, blazing with the invisible light of heaven. It is in everybody, and if we could see it we would see these billions of points of light coming together in the face and blaze of a sun that would make all the darkness and cruelty of life vanish completely…. I have no program for this seeing. It is only given. But the gate of heaven is everywhere
