Okay....so many people on here know I'm a huge Bright Eyes and Conor Oberst fan... well Bright Eyes has a new (and probably their last) album. Its called the People's Key and it is excellent.

Any other Bright Eyes fans? I know of at least 3...

hmmm... Mystic Valley band is pretty good. I've got their album. and yeah I knew that Conor wanted to "retire" Bright Eyes. I was just hoping he would change his mind lol. Strangely I was having a horrible last couple days... kinda funny how just getting the new album completely changed my mood.

I never listened to Bright Eyes much but they were one of my closest friend's favorite bands when we were seniors in high school in 2005, this thread brings back memories of much happier and hopeful times for me heh, before circumstances started going downhill for me.

Yeah, They are my absolute favorite band. And I have a slight obsession with Conor Oberst (lead singer) well more than just slight obsession :lol!:

Excellent. It is different from the other albums but really... no Bright Eyes is ever the same as the others.

its their last tour? if i knew that i would have tried to see them, they played a couple of weeks ago. ^^^and i agree. If winter ends has always been my favorite song bright eyes song.
