    this is how to make an appointment to see dr at my local surgery.

    you ring up a answering machine.
    you leave your name and number.
    they ring you back within 2 weeks.

    (if they remember, which last time they didn't!)

    what the bloody hell is so hard about being able to speak to a fucking human these days?

    I have the same problem with my GP surgery too. You ring up, actually get to speak to a human being (except between 8 and 9am, when they're constantly engaged), but this human happens to be the most miserable, unhelpful and vindictive woman on the planet, who tells you that there are no appointments left and to call back between 8 and 9am the next morning, when it will be impossible to get through.

    Hence why I've had ear infections for about six weeks and haven't seen anyone about what may very well be skin cancer. I totally understand your frustration.
