Cant get a job...?

Right I'm a full time student at the moment (3days a week) and I work the other 2days at a school (unpaid) I am training to be a teacher...

But money is really short right now and i cold really do with a job... any thing would do. just some thing that paid a decent wage.

In the past 5months i have applied for about 60 jobs.... i have no luck with any one them


is any one else in this boat? i really need to get a job. its really depressive

I was in the same situation. After job hunting for about a year, I finally landed a part-time job at Primark. I only get four hours a week, but that's because I'm at college too.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is just don't give up on it. My brother was searching for full time work for 8 months before he found something. It does really suck when you apply for jobs and they don't even bother getting back to you with a 'no thanks'. But something will come up eventually, it always does.

Lower your standards for getting a job.

Try fast food, retail, grocery store, gas stations, etc., etc.

i have tried applying for grocery stores in the past and i still had to luck.
ive tried bar and resturant work... still no luck at all
i dont wanna have to stoop as low as a fats food resturant as im a vegetarain. and just going in them makes my skin crawl. the thought of having to handle meat. even worse so burgers and such what.

ive never thought of a gas station... i could maybe do night shifts then..

I've been trying to get a job for the last six months. My problem is I've been too picky/lazy, because I am tired of working in restaurants, yet it seems I can't get a better job because my credit is bad. I wish my family understood that if I could just find a job in which they treated me like a human being for once, and I actually had a chance of getting it, I wouldn't be so cynical and unwilling to walk out the front door. Still, I know I need the money, I had to stop smoking just because I couldn't afford it and it's not doing my nerves any favors, plus the mountain of debt sitting in front of me... eh... :dry:
