i was wondering if anyone has any advice...

ive self harmed for years and years. a couple years ago i cut my arm and rubbed the carbon from a sharpened pencil into it (read it in a book) i thought it would get infected but instead the carbon has stayed in there and ive been left with big black scars. does anyone have any idea how i can get rid of these? or at least reduce them. i tried bio oil but i didnt work because of the carbon left under the skin!

    thanks

well its all to do with my self harming issues. i like it when cuts get infected cos its dirty and poisinus and then i see a doctor who takes care of it and the poison eventually goes away and things get better, unlike in my head. its control really... i dont have enough money to see a specialist. i guess ill have to try other scar reduction things then i guess all that is left is to dig it out i guess..

I would think if your psychiatrist says it is causing you mental anquish the repairs to the scars would be covered. My daughters doctor won't do that until she proves to him she won't cut anymore.
