Caught in a vicious cycle, how does one break free? I've been a cutter forever it seems, and to be honest, I gain comfort from it, I look at the scars, and in a way im proud of them; they remind me I'm still living, an in many ways, they remind me I can still feel something.

Sometimes I want people to see my scars just so they will ask me if I'm ok.

Cutters may feel the have no love in them, so they only deserve pain. They cut because they feel they are getting what they deserve.

BUT: Love is what each of us are made of. If we can learn to feel it for ourselves, the pain begins to disappear. Soon we learn to see our true value and seek the warmth instead of the pain.
