My first song I ever wrote... About my first crush who was my best friend and no more than that... Supposed to symbolize never giving up hope.

I lie alone, don't know what to do.
Always thinking of my time spent with you.
I tried so hard but to no avail.
I should have listened, you said I'd fail.

    My heart's caving in.
Even so I'll be here to the end.
The weight of this is killing me.
Take my hand and set me free!

    Why I carry on, I don't know.
Hoping maybe you'll see me through.
Though you care, it's not enough.
What I wants the love you're not willing to show.

    My heart's caving in.
Even so I'll be here to the end.
The weight of this is killing me.
Take my hand and set me free!

    Now you're leaving, I should've known.
Today you're with me but tomorrow you've flown.
In your eyes, pass the time.
Stay with me and please be mine!

    My heart's caving in.
Even so I'll be here to the end.
The weight of this is killing me.
Take my hand and set me free!

Your ways are different, they muddle my mind.
Someone so far, yet so close and kind.
I tried so hard, yet to no avail.
I love you so! I'll never fail!

    My heart's caving in.
Even so I'll be here to the end.
The weight of this is killing me.
Take my hand and set me free!

I try my best. I've always loved writing. Stories, songs, poetry. :)
