My love, I adore the way
We lie side by side and still
Our hands dance as those of the
    Clock’s face slide slowly by
As we pay them no mind
Wrapped in our cocoon or conch
    Or military base-camp bed
You close eyes to a clear head
And I’m left in the presence
    Of myself and my fractured
Heart as it bleeds itself to death

    Dear Moments; :goodone:

Gawd, you're good!:eek:hmy: Damn good!!  You truly have a gift for language. Please keep posting your works. I enjoy reading them.:flowers:

  3. How together (really together) we can be, and yet still be so alone (really alone). Which is the illusion, or are both real?

Thank you for your comments. A very simple piece, but you'd be amazed at how often the meaning of such things is lost.

I also received the PM, and am very grateful.

    Wishing you both very well.
  5. Still meant what I said. Words can be so subjective (which is ok, since we all live in our own universe)...but yours are so keenly clear to me - meeting a fellow traveler on the same road, inspite of different pasts, and directions we head on out towards...
