I was seeing a therapist who was a graduate student at a local catholic school, he said he was non-religious like me but I dont know if I believed him

Anyway that wasnt going good and I basically stopped a few weeks ago

Now I am going to some therapist at a Samaritan counseling where I know this therapist is involved in the church and stuff like that

These places are basically the only places I could afford as I have no health insurance and no job

Should I bother going?

And there are no county mental health services as those places have year long waiting lists, it is basically this place or nothing, or maybe another Catholic charity

Just because a therapist is a Christian does not mean they will push their faith onto you. I know several Christian therapists and if you request that they refrain from the religious aspects they do so. Give this person a chance. It may just work out for you. Keep an open mind and don't condemn them. Obviously something isn't working for you in your life, so you need to try something different. I am not pushing religion as the something different. There are so many belief and value systems. You need to find which fits you best and explore many options.
