    Christmas Truce

    Christmas day during our first hostilities with Germany, the soldiers of opposing sides came out of their trenches at risk of being shot by the soldiers of the other side.

    I think it was totally in the spirit of Christmas (goodwill & all that) :)

    After exchanging ciggies & shaking hands & having a little bit of a football match & wishing each other Merry Christmas, the troops returned to their respective trenches

    This was a true Christmas miracle :)
