Bubblebear accepted a little challenge from me to take 10 random words and put them into a poem if possible. These are the words she gave me.

    • bubble
    • color
    • card
    • beach
    • flower
    • tissue
    • hanger
    • dictionary
    • dates
    • book
    This is the result.

    Cliff Hanger.

I was perusing through a dictionary,
    A most amusing book,
    Its reputation is quite legendary,
If you would only take a look.

    Resplendent on the tissue cover,
    A delicate embroided flower,
A gift from some starstruck lover?
    Giving words designed to empower?

No dates contained, no diary this,
Nor a tome designed to color,
    No memories recorded to reminicse,
Just a journal to the scholar.

A card hidden amongst the pages,
    A message that did beseech,
A offer of a years wages?
To meet them at the beach?

Not wanting to burst this age old bubble,
But this book is filled with trouble,
Never one to be a haranguer,
Here we shall leave this true cliff hanger!

Its a good way to learn, its something we used to do when i was in a poetry group when you were still just a bairn [child] Sometimes, offering a muse can be good fun as well. But yeah, do it anytime for me. It makes me use the old gray matter which is never a bad thing is it.
