As night time falls I stand alone
On the corner of love and lonely
I search for you within these streets
But even the birds have disowned me

The dimness of the street lights
    Represent harmed faith
I can almost feel the emptiness
On my shoulders like a weight

But I'm not here for pleasure
I come here on a mission
To search for pieces of your heart
I'll find them and I'll fix them

    Around me I see rubble
    From broken hearts before
    With every step I take
    I stumble on some more

And marked out in the pavement
    Are stories of the broken
Each one I read is based on love
    My memories are awoken

So I pick up all the pieces
From the debret at my feet
Then take the special pieces back
    And settle on a seat

It's out of love that I work hard
    And the pieces fit together
I push and pull, make sure it's strong
    To last in testing weather

I carve my name upon it
Then place it in your chest
    It's stronger than before
    It could face any test

Now you can face the world
    With more strength than before
    Face it with new courage
Stemming from a brand new core
