Hi all, sorry I haven’t posted for a while, I tested positive for covid and became really unwell, I’m on a slow recovery suffering with long covid symptoms after my ordeal, I have spent 10 days in isolation testing positive every day! So how did it start? I tested negative on the morning of the 30th December, 4 hours later had a headache and went for a lay down, woke up and felt awful, tested again and that came back positive. I have spent a week in bed really unwell, unable to breath properly, speak properly or move properly. I have had the worst headcold feeling of my life, the worst headaches, sickness and halutinations.. at one point I was close to calling an ambulance because of my breathing! Thankfully I am double vaccinated and boosted, with out those I don’t know where I would be right now! I’m on the road to recovery and able to do simple tasks now without feeling wiped out and knackerd like make a cup a tea and eat without needing a sleep after! This is one illness I wouldn’t want to wish on anyone and too anyone that’s not vaccinated, yes it’s your choice but please consider the implications of your health should you contract covid, it’s not pleasant and it’s really not nice!, I feel lucky to still be hear after what I have been through over the last ten days, I’m still recovering from this and I hope to get back to full health soon…. Take care of yourselves and stay safe!!!
