I posted this in my intro post, but thought I'd put this here too.
I lost my parents 15 years ago, about 3 months apart from cancer. It's been a real struggle, and in all these years that have passed, I was desperate to find people who'd been through something similar. I felt so alone.
But now I keep hearing about people who have lost parents due to covid complications, and it's really triggered something in me. It's reminding me of when I lost my own parents and the feelings can be extremely overwhelming.
Someone I don't even speak to anymore lost their dad and I cried for two days.
I'm just curious if covid has triggered things in anyone else? And do you do anything to help alleviate the sadness?
