    Scuttleing little chickadee
    Forageing so merrily
    Along the sidewalk hurriedly
Gobbling up the crumbs of me...
    Following my path I walk
    The hungry little scavanger hops
    Until I notice,
    And stop -

To see the hungry little bird
    Realize I'd had it lured.

  2. Scavengers,
    do as they will
    for good or ill
    it is their nature,
    we tempt,
    they succumb,
    but they are under
    no one's thumb
We certainly are not masters here
    Why God made such beings
    is never quite clear
but that they finish what we started...
