Certain companies are currently offering cryonics as a solution for people with terminal conditions

That is all very well, but we have yet to discover the technology to thaw a person out, to bring them back to life & to treat them with the recently discovered cure for their terminal condition

Taking this to a religious level, what about the persons soul? If they 'died' when they were cryogenically frozen & their soul thus floated off to heaven, what happens when/if they are thawed back to life?

This subject is covered, albeit as a science fiction scenario, in the 1985 movie Chiller

"Corporate exec Miles Creighton dies, and is cryogenically frozen in the hopes that he can be revived. 10 years later, the procedure is a success, and Miles returns--without his soul."

    Directed by :Wes Craven
    Writen by :J.D. Feigelson
    Stars: Michael Beck,
    Beatrice Straight,
    Laura Johnson

    What does anyone else think?

Will we ever have the technology to revive & would the person still have his soul?

I would say; that I highly doubt that this will ever become a reality. JMPO
