Day and night.

    I'm so sleep deprived. I've tried everything. It used to be where I was pretty much nocturnal. Now I can't even sleep during the day. I'm lucky if I get 8 hours of sleep in a week total. I'm going 36 hours without sleep right now. I try so hard and it just won't happen.

    won't I eventually just pass out?

    Most importantly, what does a person even do when they've tried everything?

    I expect you've tried all the usual techniques like sleeping pills,going to bed and waking up at regular times,associating your bed/bedroom with sleep only, etc etc?
    However, have you tried melatonin(I've heard some good things about it from some people) or a light/sound device that can induce brain wave activity conducive to sleep?
    I'm thinking of buying one as I have the same chronic insomnia as yourself,and it's driving me to utter despair.They're quite pricey though.
    I feel for you.It's no fun.
