    Dear children of the revolution,
You can be the most beautifully sophisticated being, and still live as a child. The purpose of growing up, isn't to mature and develop; it is to become older, and wiser by years and experience. Cinema, sex, and politics is what complicates the world, and your harsh, competitive opinions on these subjects are what keep it this way. Don't you find it amusing, that we have found nothing better to do with our voices than argue with one another? Boasting who is right and what is wrong is becoming passe. And your 'sophistication' is slowly blurring into nothing. Because when it comes down to who's on top, the brutal reality is this; no matter how intelligent or interesting you are or became in your lifetime, no matter how many brilliant friends you made, or how many stunningly controversial conversations you had with the higher ups of society, no one was really listening. They were too busy trying to think of a witty retort to your statement, as to make themselves seemingly more intellectual. Is that really the reason we were taught to speak? To spit vile, competitive words at one another? To seem more opinionated and strong than the rest of the world? To order bombs to be dropped, and lives to be destroyed? To ask for peace and be handed a war? If that is the case, I will begin praying for the world to go deaf.

    Love,
    Taylor Simone
