Depression on your records?

If i have a history of depression on my records can i still work in a hospital?

you should be okay. in ontario it's regulated by the professional boards. check out the nurses association, social workers etc. for your jurisdiction. it will be on their website. they take into account your history to determine if you are of good character (they have some way of phrasing it, i can't remember exactly). i looked into this because i was interested in nursing. but since i have a criminal record i wouldn't pass the "good character" screening. which really sucks.

hey i have depression i am in medical field i keep my depression hidden noone sees that side no it does not interfer with my work if i am not well i will not go in a that given day so yes you can get in the medical field with depression i am certain there are may of us the develop depression over the years just of what we see and have to deal with
