I don't know if there's a thread about this already. Since I guess there's none, I decided to share this to know what kind of depression are you suffering from. Each kind of depression has its unique symptoms and treatments ought to be different as well. You can post your results afterwards.

Thanks for sharing the link. I printed the questions after I answered them, and printed the results. I think it'll be something good to share with my GP and therapist. My results were:

Dysthymia - Moderate
Bi-Polar - Very Slight
Cyclothymia - Slight
SAD - Extremely High

Okay that's new to me. Bipolar? Really? It must be those questions about irritability and being quick to anger. I always assumed manic epsidoes involved something like extreme extraversion, excitability, and euphoria. Talking really fast and mind racing, that sort of thing. I never talk fast and my mind doesn't race, perse'.

I don't know. I need to see a psychiatrist. Every test I take says I have extreme this or that. I want to go, not because I want to get better (I want to give up mostly), but because I want answers about what the hell is up with me. I also don't want to go because of reasons I recently listed in my member journal on this site. Goddamnit. Maybe I should just get really drunk and stumble my way into an office, sign up, get seen, get it over with before I know what happened. :later:

I think that one you took was the personality disorder test. To see if what kind of personality disorder are you suffering from. This one is more focused on depression alone.
