  1. Once accustomed to this low,
there is no other place to go
    How reassuring,
    some things never change,
    and Acceptance is the name of the game;
    The remaining state
    that never varies…
    What you see
    comes “as is”
    What then is there
    left to do,
    but inhabit this place
    and move on through
    again and again,
    as if you’d never gone
though things around do move on
    I’ve come to savour
    the taste of defeat
Nothing left to do, no waste
    It’s strangely sweet…
    Depression is an arrow
    pointing, “You Are Here”,
while the rest of the map
    has disappeared.

accustomed but ever fighting the low
accepting when there is no more fight
dangerous in these thoughts in the now
I am here, as I see it on the map of life
    sometimes hearing
    depression hurts....really..??

thanks for the lovely words sweetie, I have to tell you that I LOVE sarcasm it is one of my greatest coping skills.
