  1. Despair

    Endless wonder
    destroyed by my self-doubt,
    flagellated into submission,
    eaten away
    What great woe
    to lose the magic
    and realize
that humans are a vast blunder,
    a plague upon this earth
but for that most sacred awe
    of life.
    We are disconnected,
    coming apart in each moment
    thinking we’re inventors
when we are merely part of the puzzle
    What terrific fools
    using our tools
    of creation,
    to separate
    our beings
    from the reality of life,
    its growth
    through impermanence
    and evolution
    that divides
    and mutates
    in infinite minutia
And we think we are rulers
    of this magnitude
    just because we are conscious
We are dead before our time,
thinking blindly we make our way!
    We continue to kill order
    and interfere and lay waste
    to the natural,
    to pure magnificence
    And those that know it,

I love this poem. I read it through a couple of different times. I like the way that you worded it and the emotion that was put in to it. I am so glad that you decided to share it with us. I hope to see more of your poems soon. Take care and I love you. :cheekkiss  :cheekkiss  :cheekkiss  :cheekkiss
