fought the urge for as long as I could...but I just had to self harm...haven't left my bed in 3 days. can't be at work, can't be here in my bed, where else what else can I do...what else is there. I have no emotions at all about anything but sometimes I am so overwhelmed with emotion. I am not sure how or what to tell my therapist when I see her next. I am not sure what to do anymore, these feelings are so intense

You have to get out somehow.
At some point staying stuck inside you will just drown yourself.
It might seem pointless but get out, breath again.
    It's simple as that !
Just breath with no other aim or goal ...

I think you should be honest with your therapist if this one you can trust.

    Take care of you.
Go out and look around you, look for love and help and beauty, spring is coming again ... breath and hold on.

    Please hold on.

This isn't a firsthand experience for me, but an old friend of mine told me the way that he dealt with self-harm thoughts was to destroy old stuff. I know it may sound crazy, but he would go to a junkyard or find an old TV or something and smash it to pieces with a baseball bat. He said that it really helped him through a lot. I hope that you at least consider it.

    Be safe, my friend.
